Ingredients:
- 1 cup soft sugar.
- 3 separate eggs.
- 2 cups of flour.
- Half a teaspoon bicarbonate of soda .
- A quarter of almonds cut into small pieces.
- 1 cup of yogurt.
- Sugar Icing .
Method:
1) Grease a bowl measuring 20*30 cm and line the base and sides with parchment paper. Cream the butter and sugar in a small bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add the egg yolks one by one, beating well after each addition.
2) Transfer the mixture to a larger bowl, stir in the filtered flour and soda, then add the nuts and yogurt, stirring.
3) Beat the egg whites in a small bowl with an electric mixer until light. pour the egg white in the yogurt mix . Spread the mixture in the prepared bowl and place it in a moderate oven for 35 minutes. Put the cakes on the wire rack to cool, then spread the soft sugar on the surface.
