Wake-up supplication for Fajr prayer

The dawn prayer is one of the five obligatory prayers, and it is considered one of the treasures that a Muslim must preserve, because of its great merit and great reward. [1] It is a great and blessed prayer. God Almighty said: {Establish the prayer from the setting of the sun until the dusk of the night and the recital of the dawn. Indeed, the Qur’an The dawn is witnessed.},[2] And among the grace of God Almighty upon His servants is that He granted those who observe the dawn prayer a particular advantage in that they are under His protection and care, and that light floods on their faces to distinguish them from others, and they have good news of Paradise and salvation from Hell,[3] according to the words of the Messenger of God - May God bless him and grant him peace: (No one who prays before the sunrise and before it sets will enter Hell),[4][5] so the Muslim must maintain the dawn prayer on time until he obtains its blessing and grace, by relying on God and supplicating to God Almighty to It helps him wake up to perform the dawn prayer on time.[6]

Oh God, you have blessed your nation with its firstborn. Oh God, honor us with the dawn prayer, and grant us all goodness and protect us from all sin and evil.





Oh God, prayer is a time for connection with You. Oh God, make us among those who adhere to Your appointments, so they come to dawn at its appointed time, and the rest of their prayers, O Lord of the Worlds.





Oh God, whoever prays the dawn prayer is under your protection. Oh God, honor us with your grace by standing at the time of dawn by praying at your door, O Most Generous.





Oh God, guide us to every action that pleases You. Oh God, make us among those who adhere to Your prayers, and honor us with the dawn prayer at its appointed time, O Most Merciful of the Merciful.





Oh God, I ask you with every name that you have given yourself, to help me, my parents, and my descendants to stand up for the dawn prayer from this day until the Day of Judgment.





O God, O Hearer of supplications, O Possessor of bounty and bounty, the greatest encounter at dawn is, so do not deprive us of it, and make us among the heirs of the Garden of Bliss, for You are the Hearer, the All-Knowing.

O God, O Lord of mankind, O Creator of the sea, and O You who made the dawn prayer a victory, O God, do not deprive us of this victory, and grant us the ability to do all good things, for You are the righteous and generous.





Oh God, our best time is the time to meet You. Oh God, do not deprive us of standing up for the dawn prayer so that we are deprived of meeting You, O Judge of needs, O Hearer of prayers.





Oh God, we are at your door, do not deprive us of your reward, and honor us by performing the dawn prayer on time, O Most Merciful to your servants.





Specific reasons for waking up for Fajr prayer

A Muslim must intend to get up for Fajr prayer, and take the reasons for waking up for prayer, and among these reasons are: [7] [8]


Sincerity to God Almighty. When a servant is sincere to God Almighty, He grants him success in obedience, according to the Almighty’s saying: {And they were not commanded except to worship God, sincere to Him in religion}, [9] so the goodness of action is due to the goodness of the heart, and the goodness of the heart is due to the goodness of the intention.

Sleeping in purity, and on the right side, according to what the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - said: (When you go to your bed, perform the ablution that you perform for prayer, then lie on your right side, and say: O God, I surrender my face to You, and I entrust my affairs to You, and I turn my back to You, out of awe and desire for You. There is no refuge or refuge from You except in You. I believe in Your Book which You revealed, and in Your Prophet whom You sent. He said: If you die, die according to nature, and make them the last thing you say. [10]

Sleeping early, this helps him wake up for the dawn prayer, and going to bed early is a prophetic commandment and a healthy habit.

Reciting the supplications before sleeping, as the supplications help one to get up and protect against Satan, and among these supplications is: (When the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, went to bed every night, he would bring his palms together, then blow on them and recite in them: “Say, ‘He is Allah, One,’ and ‘Say, I seek refuge in my Lord Al-Falaq and say I seek refuge Lord of the people, then he wipes with them as much of his body as he can, starting with them on his head and face and the front of his body. He does that three times).[11]
