The torment of the grave
In the busyness of life and amid the concerns and preoccupations, we often neglect preparing for the day of departure and preparing to meet God and the afterlife. Therefore, we must always remember the grave, its closeness, its narrowness, and its darkness. The grave is the first stage of the afterlife, and we will all enter it. The Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - says: (The grave is the first stage of the afterlife. If its companion escapes from it, then what comes after it is easier, and if he does not escape from it, what comes after it is more difficult). [1] Therefore, we must take a serious stance with ourselves, remember our situation and our fate, and contemplate those moments that we will pass through, and pray to God Almighty to relieve us of the agony of death and the torment of the grave and to admit us to Paradise without punishment or reckoning. He is the guardian of that and the one who is capable of it. [2] ]
