It is desirable to supplicate on Wednesday between noon and afternoon because it is a time of response. On the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah, he said: (The Prophet supplicated three times in Al-Fath Mosque: on Monday, on Tuesday, and on Wednesday, and his supplication was answered on Wednesday between the two prayers, so people recognized his face. He said: Jabir: Never was an important and serious matter befall me except that I was keen on that hour, so I would supplicate during it and know the answer.)[1] A group of scholars took into account the content of the hadith, and Ibn Taymiyyah mentioned this hadith in his book “Iqtadaa al-Sirat al-Mustaqim” and commented on it by saying: “And this hadith A group of our companions and others do it, and they make an effort to supplicate in this matter, as was reported on the authority of Jabir. It was not reported on the authority of Jabir, may God be pleased with him, that he sought the supplication in the place, but rather in the time. ] Al-Albani commented: “If the companion had not told us this news, we would have said that it had happened to the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - that he supplicated and it was answered, at that time of that day, but this companion began to act on what he saw from the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace.” Peace be upon him - day and time, and He will be responded to.”[3]
