Supplication and remembrance after prayer

Supplication is one of the best and most beloved acts of worship to God Almighty, so a person calls on his Lord at any time and place, for God Almighty is near and responds, and one of the times in which supplication is recommended is supplication after the obligatory prayer, [1] (When the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said salaam, Prayer: He said, “O God, forgive me for what I have put forward and what I have delayed, for what I have concealed and what I have declared, for what I have been extravagant, and for what You know better than me. You are the one who brings forward and the one who will come back, there is no god but You.”[2] So supplication after prayer is permissible, and the best of it is what was done before the greeting of peace.[3] Dhikr after prayer is a Sunnah established by the Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - so it should be maintained, as it contains a lot of good. It is one of the means that brings the servant closer to his Lord, which repels the whispers of Satan, and it is a reason for entering Paradise and expiating bad deeds. [4] The Almighty said: {Indeed there has been for you in the Messenger of God a good example for him who hopes in God and the Last Day and remembers God often}.[5]

(When the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, finished his prayer, he would ask forgiveness three times and say: O God, you are the peace and from you is peace. Blessed be the Possessor of majesty and honor. Al-Walid said: So I said to Al-Awza’i: How is seeking forgiveness? He said: You say: I ask forgiveness from God, I ask forgiveness from God).[6] ]

(Whoever glorifies God at the end of every prayer thirty-three times, and praises God thirty-three times, and glorifies God thirty-three times, that is ninety-nine, and says completely one hundred: There is no god but God alone, with no partner, to Him belongs dominion, and to Him is praise, and He is capable of all things. His sins are forgiven, even if they are like the foam of the sea.)[7]

(Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi at the end of every obligatory prayer, nothing will prevent him from entering Paradise unless he dies.)[8]

(The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, commanded me to recite “Al-Mu’awwidha” after every prayer).[9]

(He used to say when he prayed the morning prayer when he said the salutation, “O God, I ask you for useful knowledge, good provision, and acceptable deeds.”[10]

(If you pray the Fajr prayer, say before you speak to any of the people: O God, save me from the Fire, seven times, for if you die on that day, God has written for you protection from the Fire. And if you pray the Maghrib prayer, say before you speak to any of the people, O God, protect me from the Fire, seven times. Sometimes, if you die during that night, God will record for you a protection from Hell.) [11]

(The poor emigrants came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said: The people of the earth have gone with the highest ranks and lasting bliss. He said: What is that? They said: They pray as we pray, and bye They fast as we fast, and they give alms but we do not, and they emancipate but we do not emancipate. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: May God bless him and grant him peace: Shall I not teach you something by which you will catch up with those who came before you and with it you will precede those after you, and no one will be better than you except he who has done the same as what you have done? They said: Yes, O Messenger? God said: You glorify God, you glorify God, and you praise Him, after every prayer thirty-three times Abu Saleh: The poor immigrants returned to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said: Our brothers who have wealth heard about what we did, so they did the same, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said And peace be upon him: This is the grace of God. He gives it to whomever He wills.[12]
