Sustenance can be defined as: “everything that benefits a Muslim that is permissible.” There are many things that a Muslim asks for in this regard, such as asking for sustenance through a job, money, a car, or other different types of sustenance that every person requests from God. There is no doubt about that, for God is the Provider, the Giver, the One who gives. worship; As God Almighty says in His Book: {Indeed, God is the Provider, Possessor of Power, the Sustainer}, [1] and a job is one of the types of sustenance that a servant requests from his Lord. Therefore, this article will present a set of supplications that a Muslim individual can pray to ask God for a job:

O God, O Causer of causes, O Opener of doors, O Answerer of prayers, and O Judge of needs, fulfill my needs, and grant me a good and righteous job that brings me closer to You, and improves my affairs in this world and the hereafter.
Oh God, grant me, from where I do not expect, a job that pleases the mind and mind, O God, Amen.
Oh God, grant me a good deed that will spare me the need to ask people, suffice me in the affairs of this world, and improve me in the affairs of the Hereafter.
Oh God, O Most Merciful, O Most Merciful, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor, I ask You for a good job that will bring me lawful, good, and blessed money.
O God, O Generous One, O Kindness, O Benevolent One, O Owner of the Kingdom, O Mighty One who does not oppress, O God, if my sustenance is in the sky, send it down, and if it is on the earth, take it out, and if it is far away, bring it closer, and if it is difficult, make it easy, and if it is difficult, make it easy, and grant me a job that will free me from my need. The need for someone other than you, Lord of the worlds.

O God, O my comforter in my loneliness, and O my Merciful in my estrangement, grant me from You an ample provision, and make it easy for me to obtain a job and a good job that is sufficient for me. They care about the world and the need for people.
Oh God, grant me more goodness than I ask for, give me more than I hope for, and grant me, O God, a job that will please me sooner than later, O Lord of the Worlds.
Oh God, I ask you for all good, both urgent and short-term, what I learned of it and what I did not know, and I seek refuge in You from all evil, short-term and short-term, what I knew of and what I did not know. Oh God, if this job was good for me, make it easy, and if it was evil for me, keep it away from me, O Lord of the Worlds.
O God, praise be to You and thanks be to You for what You have bestowed upon me and bestowed upon me. O God, grant me success in every path, grant me success in every step, and make it easy for me to obtain a good, comfortable job that satisfies me and calms my heart.

Oh God, immerse me in your vast goodness, and keep every difficult matter away from me.
Istikhara prayer to get a job
(O God, I seek Your guidance through Your knowledge, and I seek Your power by Your power, and I ask You of Your great bounty, for You have power and I cannot, and You know and I do not know, and You are the Knower of the unseen. O God, if You know this matter “and call it by its name” that is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the outcome of my affairs, then decree it for me, and make it easy for me. Then bless me in it, O God, and if You know that it is bad for me, for my religion, for my livelihood, and for the outcome of my affairs, then turn me away from it, and turn it away from me, and ordain for me the good wherever it may be, and then please me with it.) Oh God, if this work carries with it evil for me; O God, turn me away from him, and do not make him acceptable to me, and do not make me accept him.

Oh God, I work for lawful earnings; So, O God, guide me to lawful sustenance, and keep away from me every impurity of the forbidden.
Oh God, make this work the best sustenance for me in my daily life, and make it one of the reasons for my strength in the afterlife.
Oh God, if this work is good for me; So guide me to the paths of advancement in it, and enable me, O God, to do what I would like to be empowered in.
Oh God, make this work a beautiful beginning, through which my life will advance and my standards of living will rise.
Oh God, grant me all the best in this new work.
Oh God, put this work in the balance of my good deeds.
Oh God, grant me success, for there is no success except your success, O Lord of the Worlds.
