The rod tree, or penis tree, or tamul, or birch, or birch ( scientific name : Betula) and ( in English : Birch) is a genus of trees .   It belongs to the deciduous family   The rods ( in Latin : Betulaceae). It includes 117 accepted species and seventy others whose status has not yet been decided.

Botanical description of rod species

A common tree with a height of about 30 meters. It has few leaves and soft, trembling flowers. It prefers moist, sandy soil . It grows alongside other trees and is easily distinguished by its plump and elongated stem.

This effect is attributed to organic compounds (flavonoids) and also to the high levels of vitamin C in the leaves of the rods. Mayer says, “Rod leaves are scientifically recognized for their benefit in improving kidney function and ridding the urethra of bacterial diseases, infections, or those that cause contractions.”

However, treatment with these leaves should be avoided if the patient suffers from edema resulting from heart or kidney problems. The leaves can also be used in the same way for skin problems, whether through baths or massage. However, Mayer says there is no scientific evidence whether the leaves are effective against skin rashes. The cosmetics industry uses the water of the rods in hair care treatments and hair loss treatment, and the oil of the rods from the buds for skin and hair care. There are no known side effects or interaction problems with other ingredients.
